Cancellation and Refund Policy


Vaanya Travels may take various steps to verify and confirm the authenticity, enforceability and validity of orders placed by you. If Vaanya Travels, in its sole and exclusive discretion, concludes that the said orders are not or do not reasonably appear to be, authentic, enforceable or valid, then Vaanya Travels may cancel the said bookings at any time before the scheduled time of departure of the relevant flights/trains or before the expected date of visit to any property booked through Vaanya Travels. Also in the above situations Vaanya Travels in its sole discretion shall have the unrestricted right to take any steps against the User(s), including cancellation of the bookings, etc. without any prior intimation to the User. In such an event, Vaanya Travels shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage that may be caused to the User or Any of them as a consequence of such cancellation of booking or services. Users can send cancellation request through portal Vaanya Travels and steps are clearly explained in portal. For any other clarification you can call customer support. It is mandatory to contact Vaanya Travels for all refunds, as the airline will not be able to refund your tickets booked at Vaanya Travels. All cancellations made directly with the Airline need to be intimated to Vaanya Travels by Email or Phone in order to initiate the refund process. Processing times for cancellation and refund requests vary. The refund will be credited back to the same account from where the payment was made. For example, if the User used a credit card, Company will make an appropriate charge reversal. If the User used a debit card, Company will credit the money back to the debit card. On the event of cancellation and refund of partially utilized tickets upfront discount and promo code discount availed at the time of booking would be deducted from the refund amount. In case, where the user has cancelled his/her booking directly with the airlines, he/she will need to inform Company with valid documentation to initiate the refund process. It is advisable to contact Company within 48 hours of the cancellation request. The meal amount is non-refundable. (Refundable only if the flight is cancelled by the airlines). Company will be able to initiate customer's refund only after receipt and/or confirmation of refund from the airline. Refund duration for Air ticket, it may take between 10 - 15 working days and for the Hotels and Bus service it may take between 15 - 20 working days for the amount to get credited into your account.
